There is certain criteria that will prevent you from being able to apply for a Limited licence.

You may be statute barred from applying if :

• You have a relevant offence within 5 years of your current offence
• Your breath level is 800 or higher, or blood level is 160 or higher
• If your disqualification is due to a conviction for driving whilst disqualified or driving whilst suspended.

Note: additionally you cannot apply for a limited licence for a 28 day suspension. (alcohol level or high speed related).
